The Annual “Garnet Girl Brunch” was held on Saturday, August 3rd, at the Country Club of Lexington. It was a sold-out event with 150 attendees including coaches, athletes and personnel from the University of South Carolina.

 This annual brunch was established to raise money for the women’s athletics’ programs at the University of South Carolina by the Lexington County Gamecock Club.  All proceeds from this event are contributed back to those programs. 

A special thanks to Sandy Woolbright, Ricki Thurman, Lisa Rayner, Debbie Walton, Pete Hornsby and Tammy Hicks for their assistance in this event. Also special thanks to Rock Lucas, Vice-President Lexington County Gamecock Club and owner of Charwood Golf Course for sponsoring the Mimosa and Bloody Mary Bar for the event.
